  • A proud winner of the ASIAN TOP FASHION ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR 2016 IN FASHION ASIA AWARD 2016 held in China.
  • Winner of NEPAL BEST BRAND LEADERSHIP AWARD 2018.
  • IEC (Kathmandu) branch has received the INTERNATIONAL GOLD AWARD 2003 (USA) for Quality Education and TQM.
  • We were joint organizer for the LUX Beauty Star 2004 along with Nepal Lever Ltd. All the dresses used by contestants on the day of grand finale were designed by students of IEC.
  • We organised SUNSILK NEPAL FASHION WEEK 2004 for the first time in Nepal from September 24th, 2004 to September 30th, 2004 at Hotel Yak N’ Yeti.
  • IECians have designed the dresses for films like Khandan, Yo Maya Ko Sagar, Jindagani, Hero, Pinjara, Upkar, Nau Dadan Pari, Solah Bares Jowan, Dhuk Dhuki, Love You Nepal, Ganga, Ladai, Vir Ganesman, Uphar, Lahana, Ajambari Maya, Triveni, Bhai Tika, Mero Maya 100 Timro Maya 99 & many more in the list.

IECians have designed dresses for more than 149 fashion shows in last 23 yrs. Some of the latest major shows are:

  • SUNSILK Hair N’ Style Show by Javed Habib on June 5th, 2004 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu.
  • Kinetic IEC Designer Contest 2004 (150 Designers from IEC Participated) on Aug 25th, 2004 at Hotel Hyatt Regency,Kathmandu.
  • Sunsilk Fashion Week 2004 from Sep 24th to 30th, 2004 at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu.
  • Bajaj Wave IEC Designer Contest 2005 (157 designers from IEC participated) on Aug 25th,2005 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu.

  • Sapthaik IEC Designer Contest 2009 (183 designers from IEC participated) on 30th Jan, 2009 at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu. (Sponsored by Nepal’s Biggest Media House Kantipur Publications).
  • TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2009 was held from 7th -11th Sept 2009 at Hotel Yak & Yeti. Sponsored by APCA Nepal Pvt. Ltd a subsidiary of APCA, India which publishes The Himalayan Times (Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper) in Nepal.
  • Republica IEC Designer Contest 2010 at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu on 13th Mar 2010. (Sponsored by Republica, one of the leading English Daily and one of the biggest media house in Nepal).
  • TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2010 was held from 13th – 16th Sept 2010 at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu.
  • TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2011 was held from 21st -24th Sept 2011 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu, Nepal.
  • TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2013 was held from from 27th -30th Mar at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza Kathmandu, Nepal.

  • All the recent shows have been covered by all leading National Newspapers (Kantipur, Kathmandu Post, The Himalayan Times, Annapurna Post, Gorkhapatra, Nepal Samacharpatra, Rajdhani, , Saptahik), all National Magazines (Nepal, Himal, Nari, Wave, Mystic) and all National TV Channels (NTV, Channel Nepal, Image Channel, Kantipur TV, NTV Metro, Nepal 1 TV, Avenues TV, ABC TV, Sagarmatha TV) all TV channels are Satellite Channel TV and viewed in over 70 countries.
  • Sunsilk Nepal Fashion Week 2006 was also covered by ZOOM TV, Six European & Chinese TV channel.
  • IEC has the highest press coverage by print media among any institution in Nepal.

1st 3D Render Competition 2019

  • 3D Render competition was the first-ever render competition held in Nepal. Students from all interior colleges in Nepal participated in the competition where IEC Student successfully bagged the award for both the title. Public choice Award – Ms. Pasang Lhamo Sherpa and Judges Choice Award – Ms. Nisha Tuladhar

IDC 2015 COMPETITION

  • The 2nd Interior Design Competition 2015 was organized by spaces and Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association NFFA. The first Position went to Ms. Lasata Shrestha 2014 batch student from IEC College of Art & Fashion.

  • Our students Ms. Nisha Tuladhar & Ms. Pasang Lhamo Sherpa from 2015 batch has bagged 1st position in “Best out of Waste” Section organized by Ace Institute of Management “Expressions 2016” on date 8th December 2016 and they also bagged 1st Runner up position in “Hamro Utsav” organized by Kings College on date 1st March.

Interior Design Competition 2014 Organized by : NFFA (Dilibazar) and spaces magazines in the event of Furnex Nepal 2014.

IEC have bagged all the awards in IDC (Interior Design Competition 2014)

Our students are involved in different companies as a designers with 100% internship record. Some big companies they are enrolled with are Panchakanya Group, Berger, Bira Furniture, SHAAN Furniture, Quality Kitchen, Ultra Interiors and many more.
